If you know how to use a regular sewing machine you won’t have any problems with this one.I am a basic sewer. With this machine I have moved into trying new things with the different stitches available and different foot attachments. By all means, there is a lot more for me to learn. Is it a good machine — yes. Does it do what it says it will — as far as I know it will. Have I had any problems — no. Easy to set up — as easy as any sewing machine. Also wish it had the option to have my spool of thread mounted at the top of the machine, but that is my personal preference. the side mount works just as well.
